Climbers Like Me

To mark our 5th year, we are launching "Climbers like Me" - an exciting new project celebrating and championing all aspects of our wonderful community.

Studies have shown that we are most inspired by people we can relate to - be that gender, age, ethnicity, ability or experience. Role modelling and representation is a powerful tool for change. We believe if we can see it, we can be it. Climbers Like Me aims to shine a light on the diverse faces and voices within our community through a photo series:

Alongside this, we want to raise money for four incredible organisations. They are Black Girls Hike Retreats, Moors for the Future, Young Women's Housing Project and The Climbers Pledge. All profits will be donated to initiatives they are running. The work of each of these is centred around our core values - mental wellbeing, sustainability and accessibility. You can read more on each of the organisations below.

Black Girls Hike is a safe space for black women to enjoy the outdoors and be themselves without feeling judged or misunderstood. 


Moors For The Future restore & conserve important recreational & natural moorland, educating others to value and protect our landscape.


Young Womens' Housing Project provide therapeutic support for young women and children who have been affected by sexual abuse.


The Climber's Pledge are a nonprofit organization increasing the accessibility of the outdoors for Black, Indigenous & People of Color.
