Recipe: Elderflower Pancakes

One of the joys of foraging is following the seasons, making the most of each fleeting abundance. Loving it for a few short weeks, learning something new, maybe storing some of it away before the next thing comes along. It’s never boring!

Next up, one of the most anticipated foraging delights is just coming into flower somewhere near you. Elderflowers!

Recipe: Spring Foraging Spanakopitas

This is one of my favourite ever recipes, first taught to me by a dear friend many years ago. I believe it originates in Greece. There are so many delicious combinations, and here I’ve adapted it to include easily foraged ingredients. Amazing as a meal in itself with dips and salad, or as a side dish or snack. If you manage to not to eat them all, they’re amazing cold the next day too.

Women's Trad Festival 2020 Cancelled

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the fifth Women’s Trad Festival 2020. This comes as a result of a number of significant obstacles faced in the past two weeks. COVID-19 has played a part in our decision, however, the main determinant is that due to changes in our insurance terms, we felt we were not able to run an event that remains true to our aims and core values.

Why we welcome men at Women’s Trad Festival

Women’s Trad Festival has men in attendance. Generally, these men are leaders, core volunteers and brand representatives. We strongly feel that this is important when working towards an equal and inclusive society.
